Today I found out that Tim and I are going to have a baby!!! We are both very shocked and in a state of disbelief at the moment. We started trying last year around this time, and then around June we decided to stop trying and just let it happen if it happens. We were beginning to think it just wasn't meant to happen for a while. We were prepared to wait for a couple years if we had to. But guess it was meant to be that it's happening now! We're excited.
Now I still have to go in for a blood test on Thursday to really confirm it and make it super official. But those pee on a stick tests do not lie. When I saw those two lines my jaw fell to the floor and all I could say was "oh my god oh my god oh my god...."
For the past couple of days I've been feeling a little "weird". And not to mention the whole missing my period thing kind of tipped me off. As of now I just have to pee a whole lot, and every now and then I feel very mildly queasy, and occasionally I feel SO tired I could fall asleep standing up. But otherwise I feel fine....for now. Just some nerves and excitement.
So yay! By this time next year we'll have a 3 or 4 month old and I will hopefully be skinny again! haha Crazy!!!
I will continue to update this on how I'm feeling and doctors appointments and all that jazz.
