Doctor appt. update!

Had a doctor appointment on Thursday at 3:30. Which is also when I had my one-hour glucose test done. Which I failed evidently. I was not told to fast or anything. So of course, being the hungry monster pregnant lady that I am, I ate breakfast and lunch like normal. Then when I got to my appointment they asked if I had done my glucose test yet, I said no but that I knew I was supposed to around now, so they handed me the stuff and told me to drink it in 5 minutes and Ihad to wait around for an hour so they could take my blood and test it. Got a call the next day saying my glucose levels were slightly elevated and that I now need to go in for the three-hour glucose test. I know me eating that day before the test had something to do with the results. So, on Tuesday at 9:15 in the morning, I have to go in and drink the stuff again (which was tasty actually), and wait around for 3 hours and then get my blood taken again. And this time I have to fast. So I can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night before. They didn't say anything about drinking water, so I'm gonna call on Monday and make sure I can at least drink water. Oh my gosh, what am I gonna do if I fail the 3 hour one too??!! That will mean I have gestational diabetes. AHHH!!! I love my sweets. How would I live without them??!! haha. I'd do anything for baby, but I'll go insane without sugar in my life!! No more candy, or Starbucks (oh no!), or yummy juice, or soda of any kind. Ok, I don't like the way this is going. EVERYONE cross your fingers that I pass the next glucose test! My sanity depends on it!

But other than that mess, baby and I are doing well. :) She's moving around in there. Last night she kickedme so hard that I literally jumped out of my seat. It didn't hurt or anything. Just startled me!

Hope all is well with everyone. Almost summer! ...which I'm looking forward to, but at the same time, I'm already miserable from the heat. lol. So it's gonna be a loooooong summer I imagine. :)
