...is the 2008 Presidential Election. Scary! I hope everyone is reading up on all the issues from every candidate you have a chance to vote on. Not just the ones running for President, but the ones in your state and local area as well.
Tuesday=House and Fringe night! And did anyone see Heroes last night?!? Holy cow batman! If you don't watch Heroes, shame shame on you.
So, my mom found out today that she's going to lose her job at AIG. Honestly, this is not a big shock given everything we've heard in the news. She has about a month left of working there and then they're closing their location down. I hope she can find a job, especially before the cost of the holiday season takes its toll on everyone. Guess all that money the federal government gave to AIG (twice) was a huge waste of money. It certainly didn't help people like my mom keep their jobs. Instead, the heads of the company wasted it on expensive lavish excursions to all these places (and if you haven't heard about this, you really need to read up on the news more). Gee, another waste of our money by the federal government, shocker!
Anyway, keep my mom in your thoughts in hopes she can find another job soon.
